Tap water in Japan is of a quality that can be drunk as it is. The water of Teshima uses the water of the pond on the island. Therefore, some people are more concerned about the smell of chlorine than normal tap water, but Teshima is also self-sufficient in water.
We also use tap water for cooking, but if you drink only a lot of water, we recommend buying drinking water.
