“Shoin” is arranged as a set with “Tokonoma”. This is one of the traditional architectural styles, with windows that allow light to enter between the alcove.

In addition, the set of “Tokonoma”, “Difference shelf”, “Floor pillar”, and “Shoin” is a traditional Japanese style called “Shoin-zukuri” that has continued for 800 years.

In this building, the Shoin is also lattice-worked.
