“Kamado” is a cooking facility that surrounds the fire when cooking foods with an open flame. It was used in the era when biomass such as firewood was used as fuel, and it will appear in Japan after the 6th century. It is also called “Okudo-san” in the area. The tiled type of kamado is relatively modern. “Kamado” has unique cooking utensils that match its shape, and the one that is used to cook rice is called “Hagama”. There is a pot with wings around it to put it on the kamado.
