[Turban shell] SAZAE

Turban shell is a snail that is often eaten in Japan. A fisherman dives into the sea and catches it, but it is difficult to find the gaps and backs of the stones. It is caught in the seas all over Japan, but the shells of the turban shells in Setouchi have no horns. It seems that there is no need for horns because of the calm sea.

The way to eat it is mainly to bake it and season it with soy sauce. It goes very well with beer. Large shellfish may be Sashimi, but they are bitter. If you like turban shells, you’re a Japanese freak.

【サザエ】SAZAE

サザエは日本でよく食べられる巻き貝です。漁師さんが海に潜って捕りますが、石の隙間や裏を探すのが大変です。日本中の海で捕れますが、瀬戸内のサザエの貝殻には角がありません。穏やかな海のため、角が無いようです。

食べ方は、主に焼いて、醤油で味をつけます。とてもビールに合います。大きな貝は、刺身にする場合がありますが、苦みがあります。サザエが好きな人は、日本通と言えるでしょう。
