[Tofu] TOFU

Tofu is a processed food made by boiling and mashing soybeans and adding bittern made from seawater. Depending on how the water is drained when it is hardened, the smoothness and elasticity of the tofu are created separately. Tofu is an ingredient that is eaten daily in various parts of Asia, and it has become common in Europe and the United States. There used to be a tofu shop in Teshima, but now I buy it at the tofu shop on the neighboring island of Shodoshima.

【豆腐】TOFU

豆腐は大豆を煮てすりつぶしたものに、海水から作った苦汁をいれて固めた加工食品です。固めた時の水分の切り方で、豆腐のなめらかさと、弾力を作り分けます。豆腐はアジアの各地で日常的に食される食材であり、欧米でも一般的に食べられるようになりました。豊島にも昔は豆腐屋がありましたが、今は、隣の小豆島の豆腐店で購入しています。
