Olive cultivation in Japan began on Shodoshima, which is next to Teshima. Olive cultivation spreads in the warm Setouchi, and Teshima has the largest olive garden in the Orient. All the people of Teshima grow olive trees at home. We make homemade olive oil and salted olives. Teshima’s olives are smooth and go well with salads and any dish.

日本国内のオリーブは豊島の隣の小豆島で初めて育てられました。温暖な瀬戸内でオリーブの栽培は広がり、豊島には東洋で一番大きなオリーブ園があります。豊島の人たちはみんな、家にオリーブの木を栽培しています。自家製のオリーブオイルやオリーブの塩漬けを作っています。豊島のオリーブは、サラッとしていて、サラダにも、どんな料理にも合います。
