[Horsetail] TUKUSHI

Tsukushi is a spore stem of horsetail that grows naturally all over the country. It is often found in grasslands and ridges of fields, and has been eaten in Japan for a long time. Of course, you can see many Teshima in early spring. Tsukushi and horsetail look like completely different plants, but they are connected by roots, and tsukushi comes out in spring, and then horsetail sprouts one after another.

The way to eat it is to boil it, season it with soy sauce and sugar.
