You can have fun talking with your friends until late at night. You can satisfy your appetite and and your heart by Yamane-san’s meal.
Yamane’s Minpaku rents out an entire house. There are 14 tatami mat rooms, a bath with a large dressing room, a kitchen with lots of tableware, a lounge with a cozy sofa, and even a nice garden. It’s a single house so you don’t have to worry about others. There is also a garden with a nice view and Aunt Yamane’s vegetable garden behind it.
Aunt Yamane works at Yamane Shoten, which is a 1-minute walk away. You can buy various items such as household goods, food, and alcohol.
She is such a hard worker who manages a guest house, a store, and farm work all by herself. She must be truly a superwoman!
It’s a cozy house, as if you were returning to your parents’ house in the country. It is a private lodging full of warm hospitality of Aunt Yamane.
And best of all, the meal prepared by Aunt Yamane is excellent. Each dish, using vegetables grown in her garden and fish caught in the Seto Inland Sea, is carefully seasoned and beautifully arranged. You can’t help but eat a lot.
The Yokoo Museum of Art and the harbor are also nearby, making it a very convenient location.
山根さんのお家は別宅である一軒家をまるごと貸し出しています。全部で14畳の客室や離れにある広い脱衣所のついたお風呂、たくさんの食器付きの台所、居心地いいソファのある談話室、素敵なお庭まであります。一棟貸切でぜいたくな広さがあり、気楽にゆったりと落ち着けます。また、眺めの良いお庭と、その奥には山根さんの野菜畑もあります。
山根さんは、民宿から歩いて１分のところにある山根商店でも働いています。生活雑貨や食品、お酒までなんでも揃っているのは心強いかぎり。
民宿に商店に畑仕事、全てを一人でこなしてしまう働き者の山根さんは、まさにスーパーウーマン！
そしてなんと言っても、山根さんが作ってくれるご飯は絶品。庭の奥にある畑で育てた野菜や瀬戸内海で獲れた魚を使った料理は、１品１品が丁寧な味付けで、盛り付けも綺麗。思わずたくさん食べてしまいます。
まるで田舎の実家に帰省したような、居心地のよいお家です。山根さんの温かいおもてなしがあふれる民泊です。
横尾館や港も近く、大変便利な立地です。
