In the olden days, Teshima was known as the “milky island” where many dairy farms were carried out. But now there is only one dairy farm left. At the ranch on the hills of the island, you can meet the cows who live leisurely. The milk of cows that have eaten pasture has a slight grassy scent.

Although it is a precious island milk, it is sold by making ice cream together with the island’s strawberries.

【牛乳】GYUNYU

豊島は、昔は酪農が多く行われ「乳の出る島」と呼ばれていました。しかし、今では酪農家が一軒だけしか残っていません。島の高台にある牧場では、のんびりと暮らす牛たちに会うことができます。牧草を食べた牛の乳は、ほんのり草の香りがします。

貴重な島の牛乳ですが、島のイチゴと合わせて、アイスクリームを作ったりして販売しています。
